Using El Khabia spices to create simple chicken skewers that the whole family will enjoy.


1 kg chicken breast (diced)

Juice of 1 lemon

1/2 tsp pepper

1 tblsp olive oil

1/2 tsp ground chillis

1 tsp garlic/ginger

3/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp El Khabia Chicken Tagine Spice Mix

2 tblsp cream



  • Wash, drain and dry chicken
  • Make paste of spices with cream, lemon juice and ass a tablespoon of oil
  • Smear chicken breast and marinate for a few hours (overnight for more flavour)
  • Skewer chicken pieces
  • Cook on pan or bbq
  • Serve with hommus, Lebanese bread and lemon wedges




Using El Khabia’s Kofta Spice Mix, I created  a simple Lam Kofta dish.


500g lamb mince

1 tsp green chilli paste (blend chilli if you can’t buy the paste)

1 medium onion (grated)

1/4 tsp ground black pepper

1 tsp salt

1 tsp El Khabia Spice Mix

1 tsp crushed garlic


  • Add all the ingredients to the mince and put through mincer
  • Wrap mince around skewers
  • Cook on bbq or alternatively place in oven at 200 degrees Celsius until brown

Serve with hommus, Lebanese bread and tahini
